Columbia River Press

Columbia River Press Publishes the Columbia River/PDX edition of "Green Living: A practical journal for friends of the environment". Our free publication is advertiser supported and distributed through green businesses and pick up points. We are one of a growing community of Green Living magazines that started in Vermont in 1991. Our community approach gives us access to articles of national interest and yet enables us to focus on our local area as well. The business model is a home business that employs 2 to 4 people with no added overhead (foot print). We use soy based inks and recycled local newsprint. Our aim is to keep our business close to the ground and be able to offer reasonable ad rates so we can promote sustainable and environmentally conscious businesses in our area.
