Consilience Productions

Consilience Productions is first and foremost a music label and production company devoted to the creation of interesting and soulful music, both in recordings and performances. Although focused on the jazz idiom right now, our music is not limited to any one genre but is open to all styles of original music. As we grow, we will be able to focus on other creative venues as well, including the visual arts, dance, literature and poetry, etc. Additionally, Consilience Productions wants to extend the dialogue found between musician and listener into the realm of our everyday lives. Just as music is essentially a form of communication between disparate ideas, we, as neighbors to one another, must creatively navigate through seemingly disconnected points of view in order to better understand the issues of our times. Acting as a platform upon which discussion can take place, Consilience Productions wants to connect topics that might seem mutually exclusive at first, but are, in fact, associated in one way or another. Through desire, effort, creativity, and time, we can communicate a new language of respect, care, and love towards each other and the world around us.
